    More dredger work in Singapore

    Dutch dredging contractor Royal Boskalis Westminster has awarded a contract to Keppel Shipyard in Singapore to lengthen its trailing suction hopper dredger Seaway.

    The S$7M contract will see the 8,000m3 capacity trailer emerge from the yard with a capacity of 13,000m.

    Other work to be carried out on behalf of the Dutch contractor will see the depth at which the ship's dredge pipes can work increased to 58m.
