Brovig Offshore in Norway has been awarded a contract by Coparex Netherlands BV, operator of the Isis field, Tunisia, to provide the Floating Production, Storage & Offloading (FPSO) platform for the field.

The contract includes the provision of an FPSO, which will be moored using Brovig's Tripod Catenery Mooring System (TCMS), plus the management and operation of the floater for an initial period of four years.

To this end, Brovig will have the tanker Northia, which it recently acquired converted to a FPSO.
