    Shuttle tanker set for conversion

    Brovig Offshore has acquired the 133,559dwt shuttle tanker Northia from Shell, and plans to convert her into a FPSO for use off the coast of North Africa in Tunisia's Isis field.

    Once the conversion has been completed, the FPSO will have a storage capacity of approximately 600,000 barrels and daily production capacity of around 20,000 barrels.
