    More Gulfstream pipeline work underway

    Construction of the latest section of the Gulfstream Natural Gas System pipeline - which will be the largest pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico when it is completed - is now underway.

    The initial sections of the 753-mile pipeline are being laid by the derrick lay barge DLB-801 between port Manatee and an area west of the Sunshine Skyway bridge. Around one mile of per day will be laid.
