Seaworx to take delivery of Seaspan

    Vessel & ROV News // July 27, 2001
Seaworx says its vessel Seaspan was due to be delivered by Royal Schelde shipyard in Flushing at the end of June, where the ship has been equipped with a DP system, a 60-tonne A-frame and a range of other equipment to make it suitable for deployment in both the cable laying and offshore sectors.

The ship has been made suitable for short track cable equipment installation, cable repair, cable burial and shore end installation work, and a range of other activities, including deepwater mooring installation work for FPSOs.

Seaworx says another of its ships, the Seaworker has been actively deployed in West Africa, in the cable-laying sector. The ship was involved in shore end installation of cables in Angola, Ghana and Nigeria, prior to her departure for the Baltic, where she is also being deployed for shore end installation work.
