    Edison Chouest names new assets

    Edison Chouest Offshore has named its new anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel that is under construction at North American Shipbuilding.

    The 30,000hp AHTS, said to be the largest in the world, will be called the Laney Chouest. At 347ft overall the ship will have a beam of 37ft. The 6,500dwt vessel will be capable of working in 12,000ft of water.
