Maua Jurong clinches offshore contract

SembCorp Marine in Singapore has announced that Mauà Jurong SA, the Brazilian shipyard in which Jurong Shipyard Pte Ltd (JSPL) has a joint venture agreement, has won a contract from Halliburton Productos Ltda for the fabrication of topside production modules for two FPSOs, the Barracuda (P43) and Caratinga (P-48).

Fabrication work is now underway and is due to be completed in late 2002.
