Bergesen to convert another tanker

Offshore Shipbrokers Ltd in Aberdeen reports that Bergesen Tankers has announced plans to convert a third VLCC to FPSO service.The 275,000dwt, 1976 built Berge Helene has already been taken out of commission as a trading tanker.
The first of these vessels, Sendje Berge is operating on the Ceiba field development in Angola for Triton Oil.
The second, Berge Hus, is yet to find a suitable contract.
Conversion is likely to take place in Jurong Shipyard, Singapore, where the other two have taken place.
