    New standard ROV for Stolt

    Vessel & ROV News // June 1, 2001
As part of an ongoing asset improvement programme, Stolt Offshore has selected Seaeye Marine to provide its new standard inspection ROV.

The system, designed to a Stolt Offshore specification, is the Seaeye Lynx.

Managing director Ian Blamire said the system is depth rated to 1,500m and can be fitted with various tooling skids including a manipulator and a flooded member detection skid.

Two systems were due to be delivered in May, each with Seaeye's new 250m excursion TMS and gravity-based launch and recovery system.

Workshop and zone-2-rated control containers will also be provided to complete the package and provide Seaeye with its largest single order for ROV systems to date.
