Ørskov shipyard in Denmark has revealed more details of the Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) it is building for SURF SAS in Marseilles, France.

The design is based on a UT755 L PSV, but the vessel design has been modified somewhat, and will be lengthened by 5m, will have increased cargo capacity, and more powerful thrusters.

The modified design will be 72.00m overall with a beam of 16.00m.

The design was developed by Rolls Royce Marine, Ulsteinvik, Norway, to satisfy requirements for supply services and will be equipped to Fi-Fi 1 and DP AUT standards for fire-fighting and dynamic positioning.

The contract was negotiated by shipbrokers Barry Rogliano Salles & Cie, Paris, France.
