Ranger starts production in Kyle field Projects and Operations

Canadian Natural Resources Limited says Ranger Oil (UK) Limited, the wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Natural, has commenced production of oil and natural gas from two of its fields in the central portion of the North Sea.
The Kyle field, in which Ranger is the operator with a 40 per cent working interest, commenced production from two wells on 07 April.
Production is being undertaken using a leased Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel in the Curlew field, 18km south of Kyle.
Production will stabilise at in excess of 7,000 barrels of light gravity oil per day and five million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The natural gas is transported through an existing pipeline system to markets onshore the UnitedKingdom.
