    Lanistes conversion on schedule

    Keppel Shipyard says it is close to completing the conversion of the 167,517dwt tanker White Sea into a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel.

    Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2001.

    Sembawang Shipyard - part of SembCorp Marine in Singapore - is in the final stages of converting the 311,896dwt VLCC Lanistes into a floating storage and offtake unit (FSU), and says delivery is slated for later this year.
