    New contracts for IHC Caland

    IHC Caland has announced details of a number of new contracts.

    The Group's offshore division has been authorised by a major oil company to proceed with the design and other critical path activities for a Generic FPSO. The FPSO Generic design will be developed for offshore West Africa and Brazil. In addition the offshore division is close to an award of a large supply contract with a major oil company.

    IHC Caland has also received contracts for a ro-ro passenger ferry from French owners; a multi-purpose offshore support vessel from British owners; an azimuthing tug from Dutch owners; and two river cruise vessels for Viking River Cruises. The total value of the orders for its shipbuilding activities amounts to approximately Euro 150 million.
