    Gulf Offshore takes over management of Stirling Aquarius

    Seabrokers reports that Aberdeen-based Gulf Offshore is to take over themanagement of the PSV UT705 Stirling Aquarius later this year.

    The vessel, which is currently managed by Seacor, was due to redeliver from charterers TEAM in early October and will hand over to Gulf on completion ofdrydocking around mid-October.

    A consortium led by Norwegian owners Myklebusthaug Shipping AS bought the vessel back in late 2002 from Seacor, and it was subsequently bareboat chartered back to Seacor, who have managed the vessel since then. The vessel will be renamedAquarius.
