    Hook up and commissioning contract in Australia

    Aker Maritime and its Australian partner Clough Engineering have been issued a notification of award by Phillips Petroleum for the hook up and commissioning contract for the Bayu-Undan Gas Recycle Project in the Timor Sea.

    The Aker Maritime-Clough Joint Venture will start work on the new Bayu-Undan contract immediately. Completion is scheduled for early 2004.

    The scope of work for the new contract includes the commissioning of the wellhead platform (WHP), the drilling, production and processing topside (DPP) and the compression, utilities and accommodation topsides (CUQ), which will be undertaken in onshore construction yards in Singapore and Korea.

    Offshore, the completion work includes the hook-up and commissioning of all facilities of the entire field production system, along with the floating condensate and LPG storage and offloading facilities.
