CSO wins Roncador contract News

Coflexip Stena Offshore (CSO) has announced that Flexibras, one of its Brazilian companies, has been awarded the Roncador EPCI contract for the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of approximately 566km of flexible risers, flowlines and umbilicals, to tie-back 21 satellite subsea wells of the field to the P-36 platform. The contract was awarded by Petrobras.
The Roncador field is located in the Campos Basin, approximately 125km off the Rio de Janeiro coast in Brazil.
The scope of work to be carried out under the phased development comprises project management, engineering, supply and installation of approximately 374km of flexible risers and flowlines as well as nearly 192km of umbilicals to connect 21 subsea wells and a gas lift manifold to the P-36 semi-submersible platform, which is located in 1,360m of water.
The contract is expected to be completed approximately 30 months from contract award, with installation in three different campaigns concluding at the end of the first quarter of 2003.
