    Bollinger wins liftboats

    Yard News // December 1, 2000
Superior Energy Services in Louisiana has awarded Bollinger shipyard a contract to build two 74.6m liftboats.

Bollinger claims the newbuilds will be fitted with the longest jack-up legs of any conventional liftboat, thus enabling them to operate in water depths of up to 55 m.

The newbuildings will be self-propelled and will be equipped with two cranes, a 150 tonne and a 30 tonne model. They are due to be delivered in February and June of 2002.
