    Gulfmark goes for seven at Aker Brattvaag

    Gulfmark Offshore in Houston has signed contracts with Aker Brattvaag shipyard in Norway for no less than seven newbuildings, four supply vessels and three anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTS).Together the contracts are valued at around $150 million.The newbuildings will enter service as a number of bareboat charters the company is engaged in expire.The American operator already has two other ships - a UT755L and a UT745 - on order.
