Ulstein Verft in Norway has formally commissioned its new dock hall. The dock hall, which is situated atop the new dry dock at the yard, is 140m x 55m and has a 250 tonne crane, plus two 10 tonne cranes. The hook height is 40m (from the base of the dock).

The dry dock within it has a width of 36m (34m at the gate), length of 225m, depth of 10m, and cranes alongside of 1 x 60 tonnes and 1 x 85 tonnes.

Work in the new construction hall actually started back in November, when the first section of Ulstein Verft's newbuilding Number 262 was lowered into the dock and the keel laid.
