    Chinese yard to build standby vessels

    Wuhu Shipyard in China has been awarded a contract to build four standby vessels for China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC).

    The contract is for a pair of 6,500hp vessels, for CNOOC Southern, plus two 8,000hp vessels for CNOOC Northern.
