    Havila wins new charters

    Contracts, Tenders and Rates // September 7, 2001
    Havila Supply ASA has entered into two new chartering agreements with Norsk Hydro.

    One contract, a term of 23 months, is to be performed by Havila Hidra, a 1999 built PSV of the UT 745 design, and will run until September 2003.

    The second contract has a term of five years from December 2001, and shall be performed by a newbuild PSV of the UT 745 design.

    In addition, a contract has been entered into with Petrobras, Brazil's State Oil Company for the Havila Captain (an AHTS built in 1984) for a further period of six months, and another contract has been won from Mammoet Smit for the Havila Charmer (AHTS,delivered 1993) for 45 days plus options to assist during the salvage operation of the Russian submarine Kursk.
