    North Sea supply vessel update

    Vessel & ROV News // September 7, 2001
Offshore Shipbrokers in Aberdeen report that the Kigoria, which arrived in the North Sea at the end of July towing a tanker to Hamburg, left mid August towing Flotel Safe Britannia to the Gulf of Mexico for account of Pemex.

Normand Vester, Far Grimshader and Olympic Commander have departed for the Black Sea for pipehaul on Saipem's Blue Stream project, which is expected to keep the vessels occupied until early next year.

Arrivals in the North Sea include the newbuildings Boa King and Boa Queen (VS468 design), which have arrived from China. Both vessels are currently undergoing final preparations prior to entering service on the spot market.

Several vessels have returned to the North Sea from Brazil, including UT 755 Torm Kestrel, which has completed a six month assignment for BP Brazil and immediately on return to the North Sea commenced term charter with Amerada Hess.

The UT 745 Russell Tide has also returned from Brazil and was chartered to Asco Norway for seven days.

Trico's Northern Admiral also returned to the North Sea having come off charter to Unocal Brazil and Northern Chaser is scheduled to return late September on completion of term charter to Exxon Mobil.
