    Brattvaag details PSV delivery

    Brattvaag Skipsverft AS, the subsidiary of Aker Brattvaag, has revealed more details of the PSV it delivered to Farstad Supply AS last month.

    The Platform Supply Vessel is a UT 755 design from Rolls Royce Marine with a length of 67m and a breadth of 16m. She will fulfil a wide range of duties, including transporting pipes, cement, equipment and cargo to and from pipelaying barges, drilling platforms and production platforms.

    This is the fifth vessel delivered by the Aker Brattvaag group to Farstad Shipping ASA in the past 10 years. It is also the 20th vessel of this type delivered by the Aker Brattvaag Group in co-operation with Brevik Construction AS.

    Aker Tulcea, a subsidiary of Aker Brattvaag AS in Romania built the steel hull of the vessel, and Brattvaag Skipsverft AS carried out the outfitting.
