    North Sea availability to remain tight

    Offshore Shipbrokers in Aberdeen reports that availability in the North Sea market is likely to remain tight.

    There has been some activity in the spot market, with Veba taking the Vidar Viking and Havila Crown for Ocean Nomad rig move. Additionally, Shell has also fixed the Havila Crown for the start up of the Ocean Nomad rig move.

    Recently, Team have fixed the Balder Viking for a cargo run, and the Normand Vester for five days firm - this period should take the Vester up to the delivery window for the Blue Stream project.

    Team also took the Pasvik for a cargo run which was expected to commence 08 August.

    Norsk Hydro has entered the market for 1-2 AHTS commencing 11/08 and a single PSV (13/08) both in Mongstad, for seven days firm + 14 x 1 dailys.
