    Uncertain outlook at Harland & Wolff

    British shipbuilding and ship repair firm Harland & Wolff is again facing an uncertain future having announced losses of 6m for 2001. The yard has also renewed its warning about the possibility of redundancies.

    Fred Olsen Energy, the Norwegian company that owns Harland & Wolff, has warned that the workload at the yard will tail off this spring.

    Harland & Wolff's operating loss for the year was 5.89m on a turnover of 111.27m.
