    News // December 20, 2002
Seabrokers has reported that the North Sea term market remains "fairly quiet."The majority of North Sea business being concluded in November was either extensions of existing contracts, or replacement vessels against existing demand.

"However, there are a number of rig requirements emerging in the market for spring next year, which could have an impact on the term market in coming months," reported Seabrokers. "Out with the North Sea we are continuing to see requirements emerging which are attracting the interest of modern North Sea tonnage."
