    Aker Kvaerner wins contract for inspection of Statoil platforms

    Statoil and Aker Kværner have entered into an agreement of intent for the inspection of Statoil's platforms off mid Norway and north Norway. The contract period is three years, with three two-year options. The assignment, including options, has a total value of around NOK 90 million. The new contract is in addition to the frame agreement Aker Kværner already has for all maintenance work on the same installations, and means that the company extends its presence at Statoil's Stjørdal operations centre inmid Norway.
