Perry Slingsby Systems wins order for MRBs

    Vessel & ROV News // November 8, 2002
Perry Slingsby Systems in the UK has announced the receipt of an order from the Remote Systems Unit of Technip-Coflexip for the provision of two high performance Triton(r) MRV remotely operated vehicle systems.

The order follows the recent success of two Triton(r) MRV systems delivered to Technip-Coflexip's flagship pipelay vessel the Deep Blue.

The new systems will be manufactured to a similar specification to that of the previous builds and are destined for installation on Technip-Coflexip vessel the Deep Pioneer.

The Triton(r) MRV is a multi-purpose heavy-duty work class system which has been designed for extended arduous ultra-deep water operations. The design has been developed from decades of experience gained in the supply of remotely operated vehicles on a global basis.
