    The following S&P and newbuild activity has been reported by brokers.

    Pacific Richfield has ordered two 8000bhp AHTS with DP2 with Pan United Shipyards inSingapore. Delivery scheduled for 2003/2004.

    Waveney Shipping has placed an order for a UT755 at Aukra for delivery September 2003.

    EDT Cyprus has purchased the survey vessel Geco Sapphire on for a price of no more than$1,000,000. The vessel sank in Bergen harbour during 2001 and is sold 'as is where is'.

    Western Atlas has been purchased by ABC Maritime of Switzerland. The vessel which wasbuilt in 1983 was formerly the PSV Magnus Viking before being converted to her most recentseismic role. The asking price for the vessel has decreased from an original asking price of $8,000,000 a couple of years back to the sales price of about $1,500,000.

    AHTS Smit Lloyd 110 (8000bhp - built 1975) has been sold to unspecified Bahamas buyerson private terms. The asking price for the vessel was circa $1,500,000.

    Sister AHTS vessels Maria Corina and Seacor Navigator (built 1998 5,300bhp) have been sold toPTSC Vietnam on private terms - the asking price was circa $10,500,000 each.

    The standby vessel Stril Herkules (built 1960 - 4,000bhp) has been sold to HDW Germany for aprice in the region of NOK 18,500,000 whilst Strilos (built 1953 - 1,200bhp) has also been sold to German investors for about $600,000.

    The AHT tugs Lancillotto (built 1978 - 8,460bhp) and Barbara Ontario (built 1977 - 7,040bhp) have been purchased by Augusta Offshore on private terms.
