IMCA keen to hear your views on simulators News
// June 24, 2005
The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) is eager to hear from companies using simulators in relation to training, certification and competence assessment.
"Our Training, Certification and Personnel Competence (TCPC) committee would like to explore the possible issues that arise in using simulators and is eager to encourage members and non-members alike to request and complete a questionnaire," explains IMCA's Technical Director, Jane Bugler.
The questionnaire, which will not take longer than 10 minutes to complete, can be obtained from Philip.Wiggs@imca-int.com.
The results of this exercise will help guide the committee's future work in this area.
Cal Dive International, Diamond Offshore, Fugro, Stolt Offshore, Subsea 7 and Sribima Training Centre are among a number which have responded.
