    FPSO update

    Addax Petroleum is pre-qualifying companies for an FPSO for the Okwori field offshore Nigeria with a possible issue of a formal tender in September.

    Canadian Natural Resources(CNR) is looking for an FPSO for its Baobob field offshore Ivory Coast, reports Offshore Shipbrokers.

    Production levels are lower than expected on Kerr McGee's US$650m Leadon field development.Production from the FPSO Global Producer III commenced in November 2001 and was expected tobe up to 45,000bpd by the second quarter of 2002 though currently production levels are though to be around 18,000bpd.

    More wells are planned in order to try to rectify the situation as the reservoir is now understood to be more complex than originally thought.
