    Heerema and Fabricon win Sn°hvit gas liquefaction plant contracts

    The Belgian company Fabricom, and Heerema of the Netherlands, have won contracts for deliveries to the gas liquefaction plant which is to be built on Melk°ya off Hammerfest in Finnmark county, Norway.

    Fabricom will deliver pre-assembled equipment units and racks to the plant which will produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the gas from the Sn°hvit field in the Barents Sea.

    Heerema Zwijndrecht will construct a slug catcher and associated processing units.

    The finished products will be transported from Belgium and the Netherlands to Melk°ya and installed in the summer of 2004.
