Bluestream secures IMR contract from Total E&P NetherlandsContracts, Tenders and Rates // August 15, 2017
Den Helder-based Bluestream has been awarded a 2017 inspection, maintance and repair (IMR) contract by Total E&P Nederland BV.
The contract covers 36 offshore sites and is part of a long-term frame agreement and a longstanding relationship between Bluestream and Total EP that has been in place since 2009.
The work scope covers subsea inspection of 29 platform structures and seven free standing domes on the Dutch continental shelf.
In addition, a Bluestream rope access team will inspect the topsides at locations difficult to access with standard equipment.
With the offshore operations to be completed this summer, Bluestream has teamed up with Vroon Offshore Services, which will provide the DP2 class vessel VOS Sugar.
Bluestream will execute the IMR work in two phases. During the first phase Bluestream’s Seaeye Tiger inspection-class ROV and a compact work-class Seaeye Cougar XT ROV will be used. A team of divers will be deployed during the second phase.
