    Ocean Quest conversion completed

    Master Boat Builders has successfully completed a vessel conversion contract for Oceaneering International, Inc.

    The Ocean Quest, built in 2001 as the Gulf Quest, has been upgraded and converted into a 145ft dive support vessel with 2,100 square feet of deck space; live boating capabilities; 24 person accommodation (in addition to vessel crew); dive support equipment installed below deck; a marine rated API 10 ton crane on the stern; 24 hour operational capacity; and, built-in, below deck, 6 X 6 jet pump.

    Working in the Gulf of Mexico, the Ocean Quest is suited to inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) activities on pipelines and platforms in water depths down to 300ft.
