Pacific Warlock wins term charter with Saipem

    Vessel & ROV News // April 11, 2003
March saw Swire Pacific's new "W" class AHTS UT710 Pacific Warlock leave Aker Brevikshipyard in Norway and enter a term charter with Saipem.

The Pacific Warlock will join the two AHTS UT720s Pacific Blade and Pacific Banner in pipe-laying assist duties off West Africa.

This will leave Swire Pacific Offshore with no spot vessels in the North Sea, however if the spot market tightens up there is a possibility they may bring in a vessel from elsewhere, noted brokers.

On the other side of the world, Swire Pacific also took delivery of another 'W Class' AHTS UT710 - Pacific Wizard from INP yard in South Korea.
