    April could bring long term contracts for owners

    Seabrokers reports that April is being "anticipated warmly" by several owners, who will see some ink dry on term contracts.

    The Ocean Commander UT745 PSV has been fixed by MOG, the Northern Mariner by Petersons, both for long-term contracts.

    ExxonMobil Norway are pending for two term vessels for the summer.

    The Highland Fortress has a contract with Fugro-UDI, Havila Surf with Subsea 7.

    Meanwhile Statoil are out to bid for about four large vessels for pipe haul duties, Petro-Canada,Venture, Talisman and Petersons are also looking for vessels, noted Seabrokers in its March issue of Seabreeze.
