Searcher expands seismic coverage offshore Papua New GuineaProjects and Operations // October 13, 2016
Searcher Seismic has announced acquisition of the 11,000 km Hahonua 2D seismic survey has commenced in Papua New Guinea. The acquisition, in partnership with BGP, increases Searcher's total seismic data library in the region to over 70,000km.
In addition, Searcher and Gardline have initiated a multi-beam and coring survey, the Davaria Geochemical Survey, covering the entire Gulf of Papua to identify and analyse hydrocarbon seeps.
