Fairplay's Daily Newbuilding Service (www.fairplay.co.uk) has reported that Samsung Heavy Industries has named a 92,500dwt shuttle tanker ordered by Teekay Shipping's Norwegian subsidiary Ugland Nordic.

Fairplay said the 219m long, 42m wide shuttle tanker is classed by DNV and has a Mitsui licence-built MAN B&W 7L67GFCA main engine with an output of 11,179kW. The vessel's service speed is 14.7 knots.

The newbuild, named Petroatlantic, is the sister ship of Petronordic delivered by the same shipbuilder, Fairplay reported.
