Strategic Marine delivers Sarah Pearl

Strategic Marine in Australia has delivered the 40m support vessel Sarah Pearl to Lewek Shipping of Singapore.

Sarah Pearl has a top speed of 25 knots, and is powered by 3 MTU 16V2000 engines with a total power output of 2,400kw. At her maximum speed, she has a 1,500nm range.

The ship is a multi-purpose crew and utility vessel with comfortable ferry style seating for 120 passengers, and a deck cargo capacity of 35 tonnes. She also carries 25 tonnes of fresh water and 45 tonnes of diesel fuel, making her highly flexible in thecompetitive crew boat market.

Sarah Pearl is also equipped with a half Fi-Fi Fire fighting system, capable of pumping more than 1,200 cubic metres of water an hour, and a full drencher system to protect the vessel in any fire fighting role.

Sarah Pearl is also fitted with a 5 tonne tugger winch, and her aft deck is specifically designed to handle heavy oil hoses.
