Viking Supply Ships reaches agreement with banksCompany News // May 3, 2016
Viking Supply Ships, which has been in negotiation with its creditors and shareholders regarding long term financing for the company, says the situation is "challenging" but the dialogue is "constructive," and it has reached an agreeement in principle with its banks. The agreement is subject to credit committee approval and other customary conditions.
"Due to complicated and lengthy negotiations, the publication of the Annual Reports of Viking Supply Ships will be delayed," said the company. As a result, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) due to take place on 20 May 2016 has been postponed.
The company said the AGM will now be held "as soon as possible" and a new summons to the AGM will be issued no later than four weeks ahead of the new date of the AGM. The company will also postpone publication of its financial report for the first quarter of 2016, which was scheduled for 6 May.
