EISA to build new AHTS

Fairplay (www.fairplay.co.uk), the weekly international shipping magazine has reported that EISA shipyard in Brazil has received an order from Brazilian owner Astromaritima Navegacao to build three offshore vessels that will be chartered to Petrobras.Fairplay said the yard is to build an anchor-handling tug costing $40 million and two harbour tugs that will cost $4 million each, taking the total to $48 million.
Fairplay said that as well as the three newbuildings, Astromaritima is hoping to upgrade two of its 18 offshore vessels costing $9 million.
