    Brazilian yard delivers PSV

    Estaleiro Promar 1, the Brazilian yard that is part of the Aker Brattvaag Group, delivered newbuilding no 04 to Mare Alto, Tidewater's Brazilian offshore company, on 19 December 2002.The vessel is a UT 755 L PSV developed by Rolls-Royce Marine, Ulsteinvik, Norway. It has an overall length of 72 m, accommodation for 22, a deadweight of 3350 tons, and two main engines, each of 2,007kW.

    The yard said a great deal of emphasis in the design has been placed on health, safety and the environment with a high level of comfort for the crew.

    In addition to regular notation, the newbuild also bears the notation DynPos AUT and Oil Rec.

    The hull was launched last May.
