Bollinger delivers OSV named for fallen soldier

Bollinger Shipyards in the US has delivered Jonathan Rozier, the third of four 207ft, 4,750bhp PSVs for Tidewater. A fourth vessel of the same type, Bourgeois Tide, will be delivered in April.The boats are Bollinger 220 Class OSVs, designed to provide greater cargo capacities, more versatility, more options and lower operating costs than larger vessels.
The Jonathan Rozier is named in memory of 1st Lt Jonathan Rozier, who was killed July 19th, 2003 just outside of Baghdad, Iraq. He was assigned to Bravo Company, 2-70th Armour, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, who was the grandson of the late Gwen Phillips, a Tidewater corporate headquarters employee of 24 years.
