    VT Halter Marine delivers OSV

    Yard News // January 23, 2004
VT Halter Marine, a subsidiary of Vision Technologies Systems, has delivered its first vessel in 2004, the Seacor Pride, a 220ft by 46ft by 17ft OSV.

Classed DPS-1, the OSV can carry 5,100 barrels of liquid mud, 6,740 cubic feet of dry bulk along with fuel oil and fresh water.

The Pride, constructed at VT Halter Marine's Halter Moss Point facility, is a high capacity supply vessel with a pair of Caterpillar 3516 main engines and a Caterpillar 3508 driving a 1000hp bow thruster. Two more Caterpillar engines drive liquid mud pumps on one end and the compressor that powers the bulk mud system on the other end.
