Transocean fixes Nimbus and Stratus for work offshore India

Contracts, Tenders and Rates // December 5, 2003
Seabrokers reports that rig operator Transocean Inc has fixed the newbuild PSV VS470 MKII-design SBS Stratus and it's recently delivered sister, SBS Nimbus for a three-year firm period plus options each.

The vessels are to be based offshore India and should be leaving the NorthSea in early December.

It is understood that the two medium sized PSVs will support ONGC's drillingcampaign that is being undertaken by the Transocean drillship Discoverer Seven Seas.
