    Havila Troll named in Bergen

    November saw the delivery of the multi-field standby vessel Havila Troll at an official naming ceremony in Bergen.

    The vessel is designed and equipped for: standby/rescue (320 persons), DP II, fire fighting, oil recovery, emergency towing, recovery of free fall andhyperbaric lifeboats and Mob boats/FRCs, helicopter landing facilities and designed to operate on location 365 days a year.

    In addition the UT527 design has a stern ramp whereby rescue craft can berecovered and launched.

    As the vessel will service several fields it has a speed of 21 knots plus.It also has Clean and Comfort class notation.
