Last of six vessels delivered to TidewaterVessel & ROV News // December 17, 2015
Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard in China has delivered Saavedra Tide, the sixth and final vessel it was building to the VARD PSV 08 design for Tidewater.
The diesel-electric vessels have a length of 83.8m, deck area of 870m² and a deadweight of more than 4,000 tonnes. They come with DP 2 stationkeeping and FiFi Class 1, and are equipped with Siemens’ Blue Drive Plus
C power-supply system which offers a significant reduction in greenhouse gases.
Broker Seabroker said Saavedra Tide is a sister vessel to Breaux, Campos, Jones, Monty Orr and Paterson Tide.
