Harvey Sub-Sea launchedYard News // November 23, 2015
Eastern Shipbuilding Group recently launched Harvey Sub-Sea, a multipurpose subsea vessel for Harvey Gulf International Marine. The vessel is the first of two ships designed by Vard Marine.
The vessel will have a 250 tonne AHC knuckleboom crane capable of working at a depth of 4,000m, a helideck and accommodation for up to 150 people.
Harvey Sub-Sea is due to be delivered in 2016, after outfitting and sea trials are completed. Sister ship, Harvey Blue-Sea, is also currently under construction at the yard.
Eastern is also building a multipurpose Field Support Vessel for Harvey Gulf, Harvey Stone.
