Port of Aberdeen submits applications for consent for Nigg BayNews // November 11, 2015
As part of a consenting strategy, approved principally by Transport Scotland, Aberdeen Harbour has submitted applications for consent in support of their potential expansion plans into Nigg Bay.
The applications seek to gain statutory approvals for the project as part of three consenting regimes: from Transport Scotland, in the form of a Harbour Revision Order, from Marine Scotland, as Marine Licenses, and from Aberdeen City Council as Planning Permission in Principle.
All three of the regulatory bodies involved are now involved in public consultation on these various applications.
Copies of the application documents can be accessed at the company's Nigg Bay documents page.
