Remontowa Shipbuilding delivers first of four high spec PSVs for Siem OffshoreVessel & ROV News // November 10, 2015
Remontowa Shipbuilding, part of Remontowa Holding, has delivred the first of four dual fuel PSVs it is building for Siem Offshore. The vessel, Siem Pride, recently left the Polish yard and is contracted for work on a Shell field in the North Sea.
The vessel is 89m long with a beam of 19m and deadweight of 5,500 tonnes. It has an AHC crane, is fitted for ROVs, firefighting, oil spill recovery and rescue and standby services for up to 300 persons. It also has a Safe Hose Operation System (SHOS) and is a DP2 vessel with gas-electric propulsion.
